What does it mean if I receive the validation “We are unable to identify your company, please check the values you entered and try again.“?
This response means that the combination of EIN and Access Code entered into the registration form does not match the company's information that we expect to register. If this occurs, steps taken to resolve it may include:
- Verify to be sure you did not make a typo.
- Confirm you are entering the correct EIN
- Verify your Access Code received in communications from MyCTSavings.

What does it mean if I receive the validation"This information has already been used to register for an account.“?
This response means that someone from your company already registered for an account. That person has access to the company’s retirement portal and can provide access to additional users through those tools rather than the public registration pages. Please consult internally to identify the existing administrative user. If you can't identify that person or that person has left the firm, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 833-811-7435 for assistance.
What does it mean if I receive the validation“Your company has exempted from the program? The exemption code is .......“?
This response means that someone from your company already stated their exemption to MyCTSavings. For your reference, the exemption code from that previous action is provided in the validation response. If your company now wants to register to participate in MyCTSavings, please contact email@example.com or 833-811-7435 for assistance.
What is my username? I don’t remember creating it.
The email address provided on the Contact Information page of the registration flow serves as your username to access your company’s retirement portal. An email titled “Thank you for registering” was sent to this email address at the close of the registration process.
I started the registration process but did not finish it. What should I do?
If you've started but did not finish the registration process, please simply begin the process over again.
